With nearly 30 years of experience, Dr. Timothy Mihle is proud to serve as one of Wilmington, NC’s trusted root canal specialists. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Dentistry, Doctor of Dental Surgery, and post-graduate certification in endodontics from the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Dedicated to providing the highest standard of care, Dr. Mihle continually advances his skills by attending continuing education courses and seminars, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest innovations and techniques in endodontics.
Dr. Mihle is deeply connected to the Wilmington community, where he actively contributes both personally and professionally. He is a member of the Cape Fear Rotary Club and has served as president of the Wilmington Tri-County Dental Society. Beyond dentistry, he is a dedicated supporter of organizations such as Lower Cape Fear Hospice, the American Red Cross, and the American Cancer Society. Within his profession, Dr. Mihle maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, and the Southern Endodontics Study Group.

Excellent care from start to finish. I never write reviews but love this practice so much I had to share how great they are.To start, Chris in the front office was amazing to work with from scheduling to receiving a care plan, so professional and easy. Went first for in person consultation on potential root canal which was thorough and very educational. No hard sell, just quality care dialogue and consultative approach from Dr Mihle. Ended up needing my first root canal which was painless and so comfortable I fell asleep in the chair. Thank you Dr Mihle and all the exceptional staff.
