With nearly 30 years of experience, Dr. Timothy Mihle is proud to serve as one of Wilmington, NC’s trusted root canal specialists. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Dentistry, Doctor of Dental Surgery, and post-graduate certification in endodontics from the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Dedicated to providing the highest standard of care, Dr. Mihle continually advances his skills by attending continuing education courses and seminars, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest innovations and techniques in endodontics.
Dr. Mihle is deeply connected to the Wilmington community, where he actively contributes both personally and professionally. He is a member of the Cape Fear Rotary Club and has served as president of the Wilmington Tri-County Dental Society. Beyond dentistry, he is a dedicated supporter of organizations such as Lower Cape Fear Hospice, the American Red Cross, and the American Cancer Society. Within his profession, Dr. Mihle maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, and the Southern Endodontics Study Group.
About as pleasant as one can make a root canal. 😄 every step was thoroughly explained and the tech asst gave verbal warnings before each drilling sequence.Tim’s been at this for so many years and exudes confidence and calm.

I had to have an emergency root canal yesterday (Wednesday July 2) and cannot say enough GREAT things about the entire staff at Cape Fear Endodontics ! Chris was awesome in getting everything set up and Dr. Mihle is AMAZING ! Hands down this is where you should go if you need a root canal !
